The exhibition is inspired by the principles of La civil conversazione - a work written by Stefano Guazzo (born in Casale Monferrato in 1530) and published in 1574. It is like a journey in stages through the towns of Camagna, Vignale, Montemagno and Castagnole.

After his presence at the 2023 exhibition “Bohemian Glass: The Great Masters” at Le Stanze del Vetro in Venice, Caterina Tognon invites you for the artist's first solo show in Italy.

Kopecký (Svojanov, CZ, 1931) is now painting for the first time with vitreous enamels on Murano glass, blown by Maestro Andrea Zilio at furnace Anfora.

The Murano glass objects here extend Kopecký’s early 1960s experiments improvising with paint and etching on glass sheets, his 1970s assembled paintings that incorporate industrial and found materials, and his 1990s performative installations generated in the theatre of the glass foundry. This exhibition is a testament to the vitality, spirit, and dedication of Vladimír Kopecký, who has been experimenting with materials, form, scale, and colour throughout his art life.

For her solo show at Caffè Florian, Lilla Tabasso has created glass compositions dedicated to the Room of Seasons painted by Cesare Rota around mid XIX century.

"Every day, as has been the case for decades, the bar counter at Caffè Florian is decorated with fresh flowers. Well, I would very much love to replace them with Lilla Tabasso’s hyperrealistic creations as an innocent joke at the expense of Florian’s patrons as they visit for their nightly spritz. We all know that the idea for the Venice Art Biennale was born here, and for this reason, since the 1980s we have been turning a public venue, our coffee house, into an art gallery."  (Stefano Stipitivich - Caffè Florian Art Director)
